Where is the Footage of the Good Farms?

Over the past couple years, there have been several videos released by animal rights extremists. There have been some new footage  released as well as many that use the same footage on repeat just edited differently. When a new video comes out, I watch it. They leave me extremely upset with the abusers, the farm owner, the person that is just filming & doing nothing and they leave me upset with those that share it as if it is the “norm” of the industry. As a farmer, I need to know what people are seeing.

One thing I often wonder, which I think maybe this is something only farmers might wonder? I wonder how many farms these undercover animal rights extremists have been on that they had nothing to report back on. Where is the footage of that?

Where is the footage of the farmer’s kids caring and playing with calves?

Where is the footage of the farmer’s kids getting their first fair calf ready?

Where is the footage of new life being brought into the world with the help of the farmer’s hands?

 

Where is the footage of the milk cows getting their daily scratches & loves from the farmer?

Where is the footage of the love and commitment that goes into helping a sick or hurt cow?

Where is the footage of the farmer after he just had to put down one of his girls?

Where is the footage of the farmer’s wife crying as the trailer leaves to take one of her girls to the sale barn?

Where is the footage of the farmer’s daughter’s friends at the end of every birthday party, playing with calves?

Where is the footage of the farmer’s employees laughing & having a good time with the farmer?

Where is the footage of the blood, sweat & tears that the farm family puts in every day of the year.

Where is the real footage of what happens on many of the 2.2 million farms in the United States? Where is all the footage animal rights extremist do not want you to see? How many hours of footage do they have that would hurt their agenda and shine the light on the truth? 97% of U.S. dairy farms are family owned.
