What is Fuel Up to Play 60?

Have you heard of Fuel Up to Play 60? I’m not going to lie, I have heard about it a few times but it wasn’t until recently that I looked into it a little more.

What is it?

It is an in-school nutrition & physical activity program.

Who is behind it?

The National Dairy Council, National Football League & the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Why should you get your schools signed up?

Obesity has become an epidemic in America. This program is to help create healthier schools which means healthier children! Helps teach students healthy eating habits & increases their physical activity.

How do I find out more?

Go to the website to find the answers to your questions.

There is funding available to each school which provides up to $4,000 per enrolled school to help implement the Fuel Up to Play 60 program. You can apply by clicking here.

I strongly encourage you to check out what others are saying about this program. In the meantime, I will be seeing what I can do to get our local schools to consider signing up!
